Choose inbox delivery or direct publishing
Two destinations, different finishing steps, and no posting until you confirm.
3 min read · Updated November 3, 2026For deciding where editing and posting should finish.
Choose by the finishing task
The two destination buttons are not quality presets. They select a posting workflow. Fulres does not have verified evidence that one destination universally preserves more picture detail than the other.
Choose inbox delivery if your next task is to edit or finish the post in TikTok. Choose direct publishing if you want to review the supported account controls in this composer. If you are still editing the picture or audio in your original project, finish that work before either transfer.
| Task | Upload to inbox | Publish directly |
|---|---|---|
| Final editing | Continue from the inbox notification in TikTok. | Finish the source edit before sending. |
| Cover | Choose the final cover in TikTok. | Fulres sends the selected cover timestamp. |
| Visibility and interactions | Review in TikTok’s posting flow. | Review the available account options in Fulres. |
| Meaning of transfer completion | The video was delivered for you to finish. | TikTok still needs to process the posting request. |
Inbox: a handoff, not a public post
TikTok’s inbox-upload flow lets an application deliver a file without publishing it. After delivery, open the notification in TikTok’s mobile app and continue the editing/posting flow. If you stop at delivery, there is still a finishing task.
The local cover preview helps you review your media, but the direct-post cover parameter is not an inbox cover guarantee. Complete that choice in TikTok. Likewise, do not assume local caption or visibility edits have been applied through an inbox transfer.

Direct publishing: review account-specific choices
Fulres requests current creator information for a real connected account. That response determines available visibility and interaction controls. An unavailable Duet or Stitch option is not a visual preference that the interface can override.
Write the caption, choose visibility explicitly and review the disclosures that apply to the actual content. Commercial options and the selected privacy level can constrain one another. If account options change, reload them rather than trying to force an old selection.
TikTok restricts unaudited API clients to private viewing. A demonstration of a public choice in local preview is not evidence that a production client has passed an audit or received that permission.
Sign-in and posting access are separate
Basic login identifies the account. Inbox uploading and direct publishing use separate permissions. Changing the destination may require another authorization even when your profile already appears in the header.
Check the identity displayed beside the composer. If you are asked to reconnect, use the same TikTok account associated with your Fulres session. Demo preview deliberately cannot grant these permissions or perform a transfer.
Know when to wait, check or finish
A transfer sends bytes; processing is TikTok’s subsequent work; publication is a later result. Do not click a new upload merely because a processing state takes longer than expected. Use the current status controls when available.
For inbox delivery, follow the mobile notification. For direct posting, read the actual status and any reported error. If the outcome is uncertain, inspect the existing post/status before attempting a replacement to avoid duplicates.
- Correct account and destination selected.
- Available privacy and interaction settings reviewed.
- Disclosures reflect the actual content.
- Explicit confirmation completed only when ready to send.
- Existing upload status checked before retrying.
